By: Hypron || Feb 09, 2024
Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, announced about a week ago that it was working on a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle crossover event. Leaks later surfaced, claiming that the event would eventually include Master Splinter and Shredder skins alongside the four Turtles.
Today, the official Fortnite account released the whole revelation, offering fans a preview of the impending event. As you’d expect from Epic Games, the clip has the Turtles putting their spin on a famous song. Of course, the trailer concludes with our first official view of the Shredder in action.
Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Crossover
We’ve seen the Turtle Skins before in Chapter 5 Season 1, but it’s fantastic to see them back in action. game’s Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo designs are a combination of classic and modern. They all have the cartoon-like appearance that other characters have, but the four Turtles’ attire differs in ways that reflect their personalities. Mikey, for example, is carrying a skateboard on his back, but Donatello is wearing headphones. The details are minor, yet they let each figure stand out beyond just wearing different colored headbands.

What happens at the end of the trailer is intriguing for fans. The Turtles are confronted by a scary Shredder, who confirms his involvement. It’s also worth noting that the trailer shows the Turtles bashing up on Foot soldiers. Most likely, Epic would not go to the expense of sketching those up for the trailer unless they intended to incorporate them at some time. Unfortunately, we do not have any signs about Splinter, but he may appear later.
Fans won’t have to wait long to get into the game and start the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event. The new event starts tomorrow. It will be released on February 9th, at 9 a.m. ET. We don’t know what will be included in the event or how long it will last, but if you’re a TMNT fan, it’ll be well worth hopping in to see what it has in store.
Fortnite is available now on PlayStation, Switch, mobile, Xbox, and PC platforms.
