RAM-9 is the most recent SMG to join Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 in Season 2. It is the second submachine gun added to the game since its release, and the eighth weapon in its category. The weapon will be accessible for free as soon as the Season 2 update is released. However, it will not be a quick unlock and will require players to grind through numerous Battle Pass sectors to obtain it.

If you’ve been following Call of Duty for a long, you’ll know that each seasonal update is jam-packed with new content, some of which is released at launch and the rest with the Reloaded patch later in the season.

Activision defined the RAM-9 as “more manueuvrable and agile than its assault rifle counterpart” (the RAM-7) in an official blog post on the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 roadmaps.

This new bullpup SMG is quite effective at close range. It also features one of the greatest recoil control and mobility, as well as the largest round and ammo reserve among rifles in its class.

The RAM-9 will be accessible when Season 2 begins on February 7, and in order to obtain this new weapon, you must complete the challenges in Sector B6 of the Battle Pass.

Surprisingly, you can unlock it for free, so you won’t need to buy BlackCell, the premium version of the battle pass.

However, it is crucial to know that completing Sector B6 will require a significant amount of XP.

If you want the new SMG right immediately, you may get the BlackCell Battle Pass for $29.99. This not only unlocks the weapon, but also gives you access to premium goodies that are not available in the free edition of the Battle Pass.
