Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Crossover here’s what you need to know

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain Shredder is making his way to Fortnite. Fortnite is one of the world’s most popular games, and it appears to be growing with each update. Epic Games has managed to produce a game that has evolved greatly without the support of a full-fledged sequel. Granted, Epic Games created the Unreal technology on which the game is built, and they have the power to upgrade Fortnite to newer versions of the technology to keep it feeling fresh and new. Nonetheless, Fortnite has come a long way since its early days as a simple base defense game before evolving into a battle royale shooter.
Its huge crossovers contribute to its longevity and ability to innovate. Fortnite sells a tonne of skins based on characters and assets from cinema, television, and even gaming, generating a lot of money for Epic Games.
Fortnite has featured big properties like as Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Halo, God of War, Dragonball, and many more. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuted last year. The turtles were a long-awaited group of skins, and they’re now here, but the excitement doesn’t stop there. Fortnite will also feature Shredder, the most fearsome and iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enemy.
The character will reportedly come with a new questline that will also add April O’Neil as an NPC to the game and send you on some kind of investigation through the sewers. It’s also expected there will be a designated TMNT tab in the Fortnite main menu, possibly indicating that there may be a mini-event pass of some kind during this time. It’s unclear what rewards may be given out for this, but it seems to be something in the cards.

As of today, we have no idea when this will arrive. No major TMNT events are coming up in the pop culture sphere, as the most recent film was released last August. In any case, since it’s already being datamined with this much detail, it seems likely that we may expect it soon.
