According to the Korean esports website Fomos, the German automaker has given Faker a top-of-the-line Mercedes-AMG EQE 53MATIC+.
This luxury electric sedan has a high-powered electric motor and the MBUX Hyperscreen, an astonishing dashboard with three independent screens – the largest display ever in a Mercedes-Benz production vehicle.
In addition to a beautiful interior and extensive safety systems, the automobile offers a driving range of up to 250-310 miles on a single charge. The Mercedes-AMG EQE 53MATIC+ starts at $120,000, making it a high-end vehicle for the T1 star player.
With T1’s new collaboration with Mercedes, fans can expect to see the iconic three-pointed star insignia on the team’s shirts, social media posts, and more. This agreement is expected to last two years, until the end of 2025.
T1’s League of Legends roster will showcase their new player outfits, including their latest sponsors, during the MSI 2023 bracket stage. The winning team at MSI 2023 will get $50,000, the lion’s share of the $250,000 prize fund.
T1 CEO Joe Marsh stated, “We expect the main sponsorship agreement between T1 and Mercedes Benz to bring synergy to the growth of the esports industry.” “We’ll provide esports fans with a variety of fun through diverse marketing.”
Furthermore, Mercedes has teamed with Riot Games as its worldwide mobility partner. The collaboration provided championship rings made of 18-karat white gold to the players of Edward Gaming, the victors of the World Championship 2021 (Worlds).
