Kick, a new streaming platform backed by Stake.com, has signed another big name in the gaming industry. Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff, a co-owner of FaZe Clan and a popular streamer of Call of Duty and other games, announced that he has signed a one-year contract with Kick worth $10 million. The deal is non-exclusive, meaning that Nickmercs can still stream on Twitch, his main platform, but will also create content for Kick.

Nickmercs is one of the most influential streamers in the world, with over 7.5 million followers on Twitch and 4.6 million subscribers on YouTube. He is known for his skill and charisma in games like Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, and Apex Legends. He is also a part of the MFAM, a gaming community that hosts tournaments and events for fans and fellow streamers.

Nickmercs said that he is excited to join Kick and reach new audiences. “Building a community is everything I’ve ever wanted to do,” he said in a statement. “By expanding on Kick.com, I’ll be able to reach new audiences and welcome even more fans into the MFAM. We will compete on big stages, host big events, and share new content in new ways. This is a major move for me, and I can’t wait to share this new experience with the community. It’s all for them.”

Kick is a streaming platform that launched in December 2020 with the aim of competing with Twitch, the dominant player in the market. Kick offers streamers lucrative contracts, high-quality production, and innovative features like interactive chat and live betting. Kick is also partnered with Stake.com, a leading crypto casino that allows users to gamble with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Kick has been making waves in the industry by signing some of the biggest names in gaming and esports. In June, Kick signed longtime Twitch stars Felix “xQc” Lengyel and Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa with annual deals worth an estimated $35 million and $7 million respectively. Kick also has exclusive deals with esports organizations like Complexity Gaming, Team Liquid, and Fnatic.

Kick’s CEO, James Grunke, said that he is thrilled to have Nickmercs on board. “Nick is a legend in the gaming world and a pillar of the community,” he said. “He embodies everything that Kick stands for: passion, excellence, and entertainment. We are honored to have him join our family and look forward to creating amazing content with him.”

Nickmercs’ first stream on Kick will be on October 23rd at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BST / 9 PM CEST. He will be playing Call of Duty: Vanguard, the upcoming installment in the popular franchise. Fans can watch him on kick.com/nickmercs or twitch.tv/nickmercs.
