According to one of the first game’s actors, Grand Theft Auto VI will be worth the wait. If you’re like anyone else who actively plays games, you’re probably looking forward to the release of GTA 6. The game is one of the most anticipated titles of all time because it will follow Rockstar’s two most beloved games, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Both games are two of the best-selling games in history and set a high bar for the developer.

With that said, supporters are waiting for any news with bated breath. All Rockstar has announced is that it is working on a new Grand Theft Auto, but no details have been released. Some early development footage has leaked, indicating two new characters, a return to Vice City, and more intricate gameplay, but we know nothing about the story. Fans are becoming increasingly anxious as they wait for a trailer. Grand Theft Auto V turned 10 this month, and fans anticipated that meant a fresh update to the game, but that didn’t happen. However, GTA 5 actor Ned Luke is doing everything he can to assuage fans’ fears.

The actor played Michael de Santa and, in the canon ending of the game, is still very much alive. In a new post, he celebrated the 10th anniversary of the game and told fans that Grand Theft Auto VI will be “worth the wait”, just like the fifth game.

It’s unclear whether Luke genuinely understands anything or whether he’s simply recognizing Rockstar’s talent and referring to the developer’s long resume. Rockstar has a history of not reintroducing main characters in Grand Theft Auto games, but there are other threads that connect the various games. Michael may appear in Vice City in the sixth game, but this is pure speculation. Luke may know nothing and be speaking only as a fan.
