Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leaks continue to pour in ahead of the game’s October 28 release date. We’ve seen leaks about the DMZ mode’s challenges, as well as information about new weapons that are apparently coming to multiplayer. The latest Modern Warfare 2 leak shows what the in-game Combat Record might look like.

In Call of Duty, a Combat Record is essentially a hub where players can view all of their stats. A Combat Record is an important part of a player’s multiplayer experience, allowing them to see their most frequently used weapons as well as their kill/death ratios. Historically, Infinity Ward has been hesitant to include a Combat Record in its Call of Duty games. However, it appears that the developers have changed their minds, as the MW2 Combat Record has leaked online.

@CODSploitzImgz is the leaker who made this Combat Record leak public. This data miner isn’t as trustworthy as others in the community, so take this information with a grain of salt.

This particular leak comes in the form of a Telescope Webkit page, which Activision licences for development purposes. This webkit is used to create menus and other UI in some Call of Duty games. Developers can use the webkit to design a portion of the user interface and then port the results into a game.

The MW2 Combat Record leak was discovered on a Telescope webpage and could even be interacted with in some ways. Although the site is no longer accessible, players who gained access were able to explore the new Combat Record.

If this leak is correct, the image above is most likely how the Combat Record will appear in MW2. On the main screen, players can see their time played, K/D ratio, win/loss percentage, and most-used weapon. Then, players can select one of three tabs, multiplayer, co-op, or ranked, to view their stats in those specific modes. It’s interesting to see Ranked in the Combat Record, as this could confirm the previous leak that Ranked Play will be available in MW2 sooner rather than later.
