Sentinels defeated Fnatic in the grand finals to claim their title as the greatest VALORANT team in the world after an undefeated run through the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Two Reykjavik.

Sentinels were regarded as one of the top teams entering Iceland, having dominated the North American area and winning Masters One. Before Reykjavik, the squad had gone unbeaten in the NA Challengers Finals and was looking as formidable as ever.

Sentinels, on the other hand, surprised the world even more by winning Masters Two Reykjavik without dropping a single map, finishing with a 2-0 triumph over Europe’s elite Fnatic.

Sentinels began the series with a close 14-12 win on Split, which was rather worrying given the team’s map selection. TenZ led his team with 24 kills, although Fnatic MAGNUM had the same number of kills but two fewer fatalities, demonstrating how evenly matched the teams were.

Map two went into overtime as both teams refused to give up any ground, but the Sentinels were able to wrap the game up with a 16-14 victory. TenZ once again led the way with 33 kills, demonstrating how lethal Reyna can be in the proper hands.

The series concluded with a decisive game on Haven that favored the Sentinels in the first half. The Sentinels led 9-3 at the break and appeared to be closing out the series shortly. Fnatic, on the other hand, recovered and won the next six rounds to tie the match. However, Sentinels won the following three rounds before losing two more to take the map 13-11 and secure their second Masters victory of the year.

Sentinels conquered three distinct regions during their undefeated run in Iceland: Europe, Brazil, and Korea. They are the first team to qualify for the Champions event at the end of the year, and they have established North America as the current reigning region.
