PUBG Mobile Esports Disqualified Loops Esports From PMGC 2020: Know Why?

PUBG Mobile released an official statement on their social media regarding the Unsportsman spirit from three players of Loops Esports. Loops Esports are disqualified from the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2020 upcoming finals because of their strange stunt to pull off a small protest during the esports match in the league stage.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship is the biggest tournament in the PUBG Mobile Esports ecosystem. There are Worlds top teams who are competing to be the world’s best PUBG Mobile team. Currently, PMGC is going with every team is competing to qualify for the Grand Finals in Dubai. Top 16 teams are going to Dubai for PMGC Finals and hence, one can expect the highest level of competition in such a big event.

Loops Esports is a South American Team, they were the best in the group but they did not live up to the expectations as they refused to compete in the last couple of matches of PMGC league stage. This happened due to an internal issue between players and org which led these players to do small protest during the game. They stopped at church and doing nothing, due to which RRQ Athena got 3 free kills. PUBG Mobile officials identify their unsportsmanlike stunt and took severe action by disqualifying their team.

IN LIGHT OF TODAY’S UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOR AND following THE PUBG MOBILE COMPETITIVE POLICY, LOOPS ESPORTS HAS BEEN DISQUALIFIED FROM THE ONGOING COMPETITION – INCLUDING ALL SO FAR GAINED POINTS, PLACEMENTS, AND PRIZING. FURTHER ACTIONS MIGHT BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER STAGE.

This is the second time that Loops Esports caught in trouble earlier they did the similar thing in the Super Weekend Stage of PUBG Mobile World League: West Season 0 where they have given all their hard earnt points. Due to this PUBG Mobile Esports took some serious step.
