NIP Beats Anonymo in Controversial Rematch of Flashpoint 3

NIP beat Anonymo in the much-anticipated replay of the final map of the two teams’ issue-filled series in the Flashpoint 3 upper bracket. The Polish team has been relegated to the lower bracket of the tournament, where they will meet HYENAS on Wednesday.
It will be difficult for Anonymo, who won the first meeting between the two teams, to accept this defeat. The Friday series was punctuated by technical hiccups as NIP complained of communication problems that reportedly persisted during the series, prompting the Swedish organization to request that the match be replayed following the Polish team’s victory.
The tournament organizers accepted the request after it was discovered that NIP’s problems were caused by a bug on Flashpoint’s servers, and gave Anonymo the option of replaying the entire series or the final map, Mirage, with the Poles ultimately opting for the latter despite their apparent disapproval of the decision.
