Halo TV Series to Be Premiered At Select Cinemas For Free
By: Hypron, March 9 , 2022
Fans of the Xbox series can see the first two episodes in theatres a few hours before the show’s official debut on Paramount+ later this month. Collider and the Alamo Drafthouse have collaborated on the special screenings, which will take place on March 23rd in Los Angeles, New York City, Denver, and Austin. Attendees will also be able to watch a Q&A with Halo’s cast and producers following the two episodes. Collider editor-in-chief Steven Weintraub will begin giving away tickets for the event on Friday, March 11th, and will collect the names of potential winners over the next few days.
The tweet from Weintraub announcing the event is embedded below.
one of the things I've been working on…@Collider Is Showing the First Two Episodes of #Halo on Movie Screens in 4 Cities Followed by an Exclusive Cast Q&A

Weintraub did not provide any additional information about how tickets will be distributed, but fans interested in participating should follow his Twitter account and keep an eye out on Friday morning. Halo will premiere on Paramount+ on March 24th, so fans who didn’t win a chance to attend the event won’t have to wait long to check out the show. For diehard Halo fans, however, the event should be a very cool way to catch the first two episodes!
Given Halo’s popularity over the last 20 years, fans are eager to see how the adaptation turns out. 343 Industries, the developer of the Halo video game series, is closely involved with the show’s production, which could result in a faithful product. Fans of the games, however, should keep in mind that the series will take place in a different universe. The show’s continuity will be referred to as the “silver timeline” by 343 Industries, and it will retain a number of familiar elements while deviating from the source material in some ways.
The developer has already hinted that this will allow the producers to incorporate elements from the expanded universe earlier in the game, and it will be interesting to see how fans react to these changes. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out!
