Genshin Impact: New Leak Reveals A Much-Awaited Feature Of The Game

A pair of recent Genshin Impact leaks have more or less verified that a long-awaited feature will be added to the free-to-play game and that it will be added soon. The most appealing aspect of Genshin Impact is the variety of playable characters. For some inexplicable purpose, these characters aren’t costume/skin customizable, however, that seems to be changing.
On Twitter, Genshin Impact leaker Project Celestia and source Genshin Report report the existence of two distinct costume sets in the files for Jean and Barbara. Based on previous leaks and surveys sent to players, we know developer miHoYo was looking into the feature, but this is the first time we’ve seen something of this latest customization addition.

Currently, two separate Jean costumes are making the rounds from various leakers. Rather than two distinct costumes, the two appear to be versions of the same outfit, implying that costumes may vary by area, as the developer has done in the past with other games. Meanwhile, only one Barbara costume is common, and it’s called Summertime Sparkle.

At the time of publication, developer miHoYo had not commented on the latest series of leaks, and we don’t expect that to change; however, if it does, we will update the story accordingly.
