Garena announced upcoming Free Fire Esports Tournaments for India

Garena announced an exciting road-map of free fire tournament for Indian players. 2021 gonna be a busy year as most of the Game Organisation are planning to host their own tournaments so is Garena, they will host at least 4 major tourneys across the country with a massive prize pool which is gonna be INR 2,00,00,000. The tournament will be open to all competitive teams and players, regardless of their game levels and background, and they’ll provide a stage where everyone can compete to the best teams in India at National stage. There will be other smaller level Free Fire community-focused tournaments are also in the queue they will provide a proper date for that in sometime soon.

Free Fire India Esports 2021

Garena’s plan will comprise 2 pro seasons, each pro season consist of 2 major tourneys which are: Free Fire Pro League and Free Fire India Championship (FFIC). Both the Pro season will have huge prize pool.

Here are 4 Major Free Fire Tourneys in India

  • Free Fire India Championship 2021 (Spring)
  • Free Fire Pro League 2021 (Summer)
  • Free Fire India Championship 2021 (Fall)
  • Free Fire Pro League 2021 (Winter)

Free Fire Pro League

The FFPL tournament will prompt the start of Free Fire competitive season and it will be the first opportunity for the participating teams to qualify for the FFIC 2021.

Every Pro League Tourney will have 18 participating teams in which the 12 teams will be from the previous season’s FFIC and the other top 6 teams will be from open qualifiers. Each team will compete for a huge prize pool of INR 3,59,00,000 and book their team for upcoming FFIC as one of the top seeds.

The top 6 teams of the pro league will go directly to the FFIC while other teams below 6 position will able to play the next FFIC but they can skip the open qualifier and can play closed qualifiers.

Free Fire India Championship 2021

Each FFIC will be a national qualifiers for Free Fire’s International tourneys and this will bring top teams of India to compete for a prize pool of 75,00,000 and ticket to play and represent Indian Flag at International stage.

How to Qualify for FFIC league stage.

  • Teams have to stay in the Top 6 in the previous seasons of FFPL tourneys.
  • Teams have to advance themselves in the top 12 in the closed qualifiers.

All the esports teams and aspiring players are eligible to participate and compete in the open qualifier through the in-game mode, Free Fire Cup. Top Teams from that will proceed to closed qualifiers, where they will have to compete with the teams which are below 6th position from free fire pro league. these teams will compete for the remaining 12 spots in the FFIC league stage.

Then the 18 teams in the free fire india championship league stage will then compete in the Group matches during the league. The top 6 team will go directly to the grand finals, while others will compete in the play-ins for the remaining 6 spots.

Free Fire India Championship 2021 (Spring)

While this roadmap gonna implies from 2021, so in that case, the top 6 finalists from FFIC 2020 fall will advance directly to FFIC 2021 spring league stage. The other 6 teams will play closed qualifiers, where they will compete for the remaining 12 spots of the league stage.

This is gonna be a great opportunity for all the free fire enthusiast and pro players because a line of tourneys are coming for them. It’s better to start your grind as soon as possible.
