G2 Sign Three New Players To Revamp Their Valorant Roster

G2 announced the departures of Patryk “paTiTek” Fabrowski, Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, and Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt just hours ago. The final would go on to contract with Acend, taking over for the departing koldamenta, the decision came after the poor performance of G2 as they fail to qualify for VCT Masters Reykjavik.

In an official release, G2’s VALORANT manager Maik “Maikturtle” Löffler remarked, “I’m really thrilled to have nukkye, AvovA, and koldamenta on the squad.” “They bring a lot of expertise, spirit, and firepower to this new endeavor, and I know they’ll excel.”

Prior to joining G2, all of G2’s new VALORANT players were affiliated with other esports companies. Nukkye and AvovA were teammates with Team Heretics, and they helped the Spanish organization win multiple tournaments in the early stages of the professional landscape, including the First Strike Europe in December 2020. Heretics now have only Christian “lowel” Garcia on the active roster, although the organization also has Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel and Dustyn “niesoW Durnas” on the bench.

Koldamenta, on the other hand, was representing Acend, which defeated Heretics at the VCT Europe Stage One Masters in March. The European club has signed zeek to replace the Spanish player and round out its lineup.

G2 expects that these three new additions will improve the VALORANT team’s performance in the second half of the season. They had a tremendous start to 2020, winning multiple tournaments, but fell short when it mattered most in the VCT Europe Stage Two Challengers Two, which saw Fnatic and Team Liquid qualify for the Challengers Finals and claim two slots in the VCT Masters Two Reykjavik.
