Epic Games released the v18.21 update for Fortnite Season 8 earlier this morning, introducing new seasonal content. There’s the return of Fortnitemares, the addition of the Cube Queen and other Sideways-related content, and Ariana Grande has even become an NPC on the island who hunts monsters. The fact that a current NPC Dark Jonesy received his own set of Punchcard quests in Fortnite was lost in the shuffle.

Dark Jonesy has been on the map for several weeks, but players have only recently been able to begin his new set of Punchcard quests. This means that when players talk to him, they will be able to begin a new questline and earn valuable Battle Pass XP in Season 8. However, before that can happen, players must first figure out where Dark Jonesy is stationed in Fortnite.

How to Get Dark Jonesy in Fortnite

Dark Jonesy, like his v18.21 counterpart Ariana Grande, can be found in Season 8 at a designated POI. This means that players can easily find the location from the Battle Bus and plan their trip ahead of time. Players must proceed to Steamy Stacks after exiting the Battle Bus. Specifically, the western side of the location on the Fortnite map’s northeast coast.

Once there, players should see a talking bubble appear on their screen indicating the exact location of Dark Jonesy’s patrol. If they don’t see one, they must go to the largest building on Steamy Stacks’ western side. This is the usual location of Dark Jonesy, so players should be able to find him in this area.

After locating the NPC, players can interact with him to begin their Punchcard questline. Dark Jonesy, like other NPCs in Fortnite, has five Punchcard quests worth 30,000 XP each. Players can also return to Dark Jonesy for items in exchange for Gold Bars.

Return the Spirit Vessel to Dark Jonesy in Steamy Stacks to clear the punchcard, hear an ominous warning, and receive your shiny new glider, as the name suggests.

Dark Jonesy isn’t the only creepy quest available during Fortnite’s Halloween event. Check out how to complete the Ariana Grande quests and take a break with some Among Us in Fortnite or some of the best Deathrun islands for an even scarier challenge.
