Fortnite: Developers Reveals New Wolverine Skin

Fortnite appears to have just teased the addition of a new skin based on Marvel’s beloved character Wolverine. Wolverine joined Fortnite with a variety of skins in Chapter 2 of Epic’s popular battle royale game. Not only did the long-running X-Men hero have skin variants based on his blue and yellow and brown and yellow outfits, but he also had a white tank top version. Now, if a new Fortnite comic book that will be released later this year is any indication, we may be getting another new Wolverine outfit soon.

Marvel announced this week that a new comic book series called Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War will be released later this year, featuring a number of characters from the Marvel universe in a storey that crosses over with the world of Fortnite. In announcing this series, Marvel revealed two of the comic book covers that will be released. One of these covers featured Wolverine, though his appearance on this art was a little different. Notably, Wolverine’s appearance resembled Patch, an alter ego he has worn in various comic book runs over the years. With this in mind, it seems like a Patch version of Wolverine could end up coming to Fortnite at some point in the future.

One reason why a new Patch skin for Wolverine might make sense is that this version of Wolverine’s character just started a new comic book run this week. When this is combined with Patch’s possible involvement in Zero War, it appears that this character skin could make its way to Fortnite. Only time will tell if this is true, but it is certainly possible.
