Fortnite: Dataminers New Leak Reveals Upcoming Crossover With Marvel

A new Fortnite leak appears to have teased that the popular battle royale title will soon be collaborating with Marvel once more. In recent years, Marvel has been one of the most active Fortnite collaborators, holding various events and releasing numerous skins associated with the comic book brand. Following the release of a new Marvel TV series this week, it appears that this trend will resume.

In a recent update from Epic Games, it appears that a new set name titled “S.H.I.E.L.D.” has appeared within the Fortnite code. For those who are unfamiliar, S.H.I.E.L.D. is the Marvel military organisation led by Nick Fury. As a result, this new set title appears to be teasing yet another Marvel crossover. Coincidentally, the game’s name change coincided with the release of Hawkeye, which debuted on Disney+ just a few days ago. As a result, many Fortnite fans and reputable leakers who frequently report on the game believe that a new collaboration with the TV show is on the way.

If these leaks and rumours are true, it appears very likely that Fortnite will receive skins based on Hawkeye and Kate Bishop, the two protagonists of the new television show. Furthermore, this is most likely the final skin release in Fortnite Season 8. In case you missed it, Epic Games announced this week that Season 8 and Chapter 2 of Fortnite as a whole will be ending early next month with an event on December 4. If these are the final skins associated with Fortnite Season 8, however, they are two additions that will undoubtedly please a number of Marvel fans.
