Fortnite: Chapter 3 Bring Some Alienating Changes in The Game
By: Hypron || Mar 21, 2021
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, also known as Resistance, has made an extremely divisive change to kick off this new season of play. Typically, when there is a seasonal shift in Fortnite, developer Epic Games will make a number of general changes that will be present for an extended period of time. However, with Chapter 3 Season 2, Epic has decided to remove the gameplay aspect of Fortnite that the game has always been associated with, leaving many players befuddled.
The battle lines are drawn and the rules have changed. Builds have been wiped out, but there’s new ways to sprint, climb, and smash your way across the Island.

Building in Fortnite has been completely removed for a short period of time as of today. This means that all of the gameplay mechanics in Fortnite that revolve around gathering materials to construct various structures are no longer available. Instead, the game has become entirely focused on shooting mechanics and new movement functions, both of which were introduced this season.
“The building has been destroyed!” “You now have an Overshield on top of your Shield and Health to help maintain cover,” Epic explained in a new blog post today. “Your Overshield is your first line of defence: if your Shield or Health take a hit, your Overshield will crack first.” Even if your Overshield is completely destroyed, it will still recover.
Building has been removed from Fortnite’s standard gameplay mode, but it has not been completely removed. The building mechanics are still present in the game’s competitive aspects, as well as in the title’s creative mode. Still, if you’re upset that the building is being demolished, this change should be temporary. According to current rumours and reports, this change will only be implemented for the first nine days of Chapter 3 Season 2. As a result, the mechanics should be returning to all areas of Fortnite by the end of this month.
