It’s been a hectic offseason for lots of League of Legends teams in Europe and North America, mainly with groups on the pinnacle of the normal season standings. According to a report from EsportsManiacos, Fnatic is about to shop for out current Cloud9 mid-laner Nisqy for the 2021 season.



Nisqy joined C9 on the quit of 2018 after the team’s longtime mid-laner Jensen left for Team Liquid. During his time with the roster, Nisqy helped the team reach LCS Finals, and he gained an LCS championship during the 2020 Spring Split.


Unfortunately for the team, withinside the following season, C9 fumbled its dominance over the LCS by dropping more than one video games in the 2nd half of the summer. It turned into clean that the roster lost its grip over the meta and they weren’t capable of taking control before the playoffs.

Alongside Nisqy’s departure, the team replaced longtime top laner Licorice for Academy top laner Fudge. The team also parted ways with Reapered and replaced him with former jungler and positional coach, Reignover.


On the other side, Nisqy may be taking on the mid-lane in the LEC with Fnatic. This means that the team’s current mid laner Nemesis will be available for buy out whilst the worldwide free agency period opens this coming Monday.

Looking ahead, Nisqy might be making a return to Europe next year. Esportsmaniacos reported that Fnatic is set to buy out the 22-year-old to replace their current starting mid laner, Nemesis, on the starting roster.

On the other side of the Rift, C9 has reportedly reached an agreement to acquire European mid laner and former G2 superstar Perkz, according to Jacob Wolf. If this signing goes through, it’d be one of the biggest roster moves in Western League history.
