The Australian Game Rating Board which is responsible for rating games for release in Australia has apparently leaked a new Fast & Furious game. According to the rating board, Quick & Furious Spy Racers: Rise of Sh1ft3r is in progress at Outright Games. Sadly, the rating does not spread much, but it notes The Rise of Sh1ft3r is a “multiple platform” title, so it is probably available when it is released using Nintendo, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5.

We also know that the game is rated “G,” indicating that it is intended for children. According to the rating board, the game contains “violence” and “themes,” but both score one out of five on the severity scale, indicating that the game’s violence and themes have a “very mild effect.”

As you might be aware, the Australian rating board is one of the most stringent in the world, having suspended several games over the years. In other words, if a game is rated “G,” it will be rated “G” elsewhere as well.

In terms of what the game may be, it’s almost definitely a Fast & Furious Spy Racers game. For those who are unaware, Fast & Furious Spy Racers is a computer-animated television series for children that debuted on Netflix in December 2019.

Since its debut, the show has earned three additional seasons, and it now appears that it will be adapted into a video game. Outright Games is the ideal developer for this since it operates almost entirely on licensed games and specializes in family-friendly games.

Outright Games has not yet responded to this leak as of the time of publication. If anything changes, we’ll make sure to update the post.
