Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Brings Legendary Map From Black Ops 2
By: Hypron || May 20 , 2021
Treyarch has announced that the Standoff map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will return in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season Three Reloaded. The 6v6 map was unveiled alongside the season’s roadmap yesterday, but the developer has now published a new trailer of the level as well. The 20-second video depicts the overall layout of the map as well as some places that players can expect to see when the map goes live. The trailer is brief but effective in building anticipation for the long-awaited return of the beloved map.
Since the game’s release last fall, one of the most popular concerns about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been that it lacks entirely new maps. Although Standoff is yet another remade chart, it is also one that fans have hoped to see return. As a result, it seems that the majority of fans will be overjoyed with its inclusion in the game!
It's back, baby.

Season Three Reloaded, in addition to Standoff, brings a host of significant improvements to Black Ops Cold War. Standoff also includes the Duga multi-team map, as well as new guns such as the Baseball Bat and the AMP63: Pistol. The most recent update also includes a significant improvement for snipers, reintroducing “flinch.” It remains to be seen how players can respond to all of these improvements to the game, but Season Three Reloaded appears to have a lot to offer when it launches on May 19th at 9 p.m. PT and May 20th at 12 a.m. ET.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
