Rise advanced to the LCQ Grand Finals after a surprising flawless run that included victories over FaZe Clan, Cloud9 Blue, and 100 Thieves. Many people thought Rise was an underdog going into the event, but they’ve proven to be one of the best teams in the region. They also had their share of difficulties, such as supamen disconnecting during their overtime match against Cloud9 Blue. They returned the next day, relegating Cloud9 to the lower bracket, maintaining their lead over 100 Thieves, and securing a spot in the grand final.
