Raven Software, the developer of Call of Duty: Warzone, has announced that the Streetsweeper arm will be altered in the game’s next update. NRG’s Joseph “JoeWo” Wohala expressed his displeasure with the weapon on Twitter, prompting a response from the game’s creator. It’s unclear how significant the improvements will be at this point, but JoeWo is not alone in his dissatisfaction with the Streetsweeper. The weapon has received a lot of criticism on social media, and several people have called for a nerf. It seems that most fans will be pleased with the improvements, whatever they might be.

With the start of Season 3, Call of Duty: Warzone saw significant changes, including a new version of the Verdansk map, which has proven somewhat divisive among players. Following the announcement, Infinity Ward announced that the game has several long-term plans. Given Activision’s commitment to helping Warzone well into the future, it appears that fans should expect a slew of updates, such as those coming to Streetsweeper.

If Activision wants to keep people interested in Call of Duty: Warzone, it will have to keep making adjustments like this to keep the game balanced and players satisfied. Some Twitter users argued that the Streetsweeper doesn’t really need an upgrade, so they won’t be as excited about future improvements. At the end of the day, no developer will ever be able to satisfy every player, and the most important thing is to maintain a good balance that keeps players coming back for more. Fans of the game will have to wait to see how those updates playout for the time being!

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All of our previous coverage of the game can be found right here.
