Brax signed was signed in march 2020 as the org fifth player on its Valorant roster. Brax is well known for his competitive career in CSGO but had the opportunity to compete at a Major stipped from him after his involvement in the iBuypower match fixing scandal back in 2013.
Following his signing with T1, the organzation went out and got one of his former iBUYPOWER teammates in AZK. This was followed up with two more former teammates in Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham and Sam “DaZeD” Marine, and then former Overwatch pro Ha “Spyder” Jung-woo.
Brax along with AZK and co went on to place second at the T1 X Nerd Street Gamers Showdown followed by a plethora of mid-table finishes at PAX Arena Invitational and Renegades Invitational too organized by NSG. At the first strike, they did qualify for the main event but fell short to the Champions 100 Thieves in the Quarterfinals. Recently they were denied a spot at the Challengers Event by Andbox which marked the last match-up for the released duo at T1.
According to rumors across Twitter, ex-Triumph CS:GO professional Rahul “Curry” Nemani might be brought aboard as T1’s fifth player.
