Battlefield 6: Major Details Leaked Before The Launch Of The Game

New details on Battlefield 6 have leaked online ahead of next month’s reveal trailer, courtesy of Tom Henderson, a well-known Battlefield insider and leaker. Henderson shared a slew of unofficial details about the game on Twitter, including the fact that it takes place after the events of Battlefield 4 in a near-future setting during “the next world war.” And who is at the centre of this world war? Not the United States and China, but the United States and Russia, a relatively safe power conflict that video games have exploited for years. Players will reportedly play an elite force hired by both sides in this conflict.

In addition, Henderson sends news that the game will have modes that accommodate up to 128 people and that each player will receive unique bonuses. Finally, Henderson confirms that alpha will be released in July, possibly at EA Play, but it’s also possible that it could be held back for a stealth release.

“The Battlefield Alpha should be available in July, with an announcement made at EA Play,” Henderson stated. “At the end of the event, there may be a ‘Oh, and the Battlefield Alpha is now ready to play’ type of deal.”

EA and DICE have not commented on any of this as of the time of publication. We don’t expect this to alter because they’ve both been silent during every leak, rumor, and story so far. However, if it does alter for any reason, we will update the story accordingly. Meanwhile, take everything with a grain of salt.
