Apex Legends Hints Upcoming Tropical Map

Apex Legends players have discovered an intriguing teaser in the game that could indicate the release of a new map. A screen showing a tropical location can now be seen in the Olympus pod. The setting appears to be a sand-covered beach with palm trees and other plant life visible. It’s unclear whether this is a planned map for the next season or a tease for something else, but the screen’s sudden appearance has sparked a lot of speculation among game fans! So far, developer Respawn Entertainment has been tight-lipped about the discovery, so it’s impossible to say for sure.

While that appears to be pretty strong evidence on its own, additional information appears to have leaked as well. Thordan Smash, an Apex Legends YouTuber, has shared a video with what appears to be an overhead shot of the map, showcasing much of what fans can expect when it launches. It’s worth noting that Thordan Smash has a sizable following on YouTube and social media, but this should not be taken as proof.

However, when combined with the video from the Olympus pod, it appears to be a safe bet that Apex Legends players will be visiting a warmer climate in the near future.

Hopefully, Respawn will not keep fans waiting too long! If the tropical island is indeed the game’s next map, it could be an intriguing new location. According to Thordan Smash’s video, this map will be slightly smaller than other Apex Legends maps. That could be very interesting, but fans will have to wait and see how it all plays out!

Apex Legends is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
