Valorant: Sentinels Totally Destroyed Nuturn in VCT Masters Reykjavík Semi-finals
By: Hypron || May 29, 2021
Sentinels defeated NUTURN 2-0 today to remain undefeated in the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Two Reykjavik tournament. This victory guarantees Sentinels’ place in the grand finals, bringing them one step closer to becoming the first worldwide VALORANT LAN champion.
Except for the Sentinels, who haven’t dropped a single map, Masters Reykjavik has been a tight competition for most teams. They began their rampage on May 25 with a 2-0 win over Fnatic and easily repeated that result against Team Vikings. However, many people saw NUTURN, the only other undefeated team in the upper bracket, as a legitimate threat to Sentinels.
Without dropping a map, @Sentinels are headed to the GRAND FINALS!

Sentinels kicked off the series with a 13-5 victory on NUTURN’s map of choice, Bind. SicK and TenZ lead the team in kills with 20 and 19, respectively. NUTURN barely won one round in the second half as Sentinels attacked and annihilated them.
Map two was even more difficult for NUTURN. They struggled to win a round against the Sentinels and only managed to win two in the first half on offence. They did win the first two rounds of the second half, but the Sentinels won the following three rounds to win the series 13-4.

Sentinels have qualified for the grand finals and will not play again until Sunday, May 30. NUTURN, on the other hand, will compete again in the lower final. They’ll be up against either Fnatic or Team Liquid.
